2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 220

Day 220 - Today I am so very grateful to Raewyn and Hugh for letting us stay over at their home again last night while the final coat of polyurethane was put on our floor! 

I think the floor looks like someone has poured liquid toffee all over it :)

We all enjoyed our night away including having a hot spa on a very chilly night. I also love how Hugh and Raewyns home has the living rooms upstairs. The views are amazing and last night the sunset in the west made the sky look like it was on fire. To the south though, the storm clouds were fast approaching! 

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 205

Day 205 - Today I was very grateful to wake up at Raewyn and Hugh Perry's home after a sleepover while the floors at our place were drying! 

So thrilled with the results 

We were looked after so well and we really enjoyed our night away!

I was also grateful to Liz, the children's ministry leader, for organising a fun pizza and movie night at the church :)

Day 204 - Today I was grateful that the kitchen man came to finish off the kitchen and that the floor guy came to finish off the floor :)

Day 198 - Today I am very grateful that out kitchen floor has been polished ready for our new kitchen to go in :) 

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 197

Day 197 - Today I was very grateful to have our old kitchen taken out this morning and have it picked up tonight by the people who bought it on Trade Me! 

I was also extremely grateful that the sander turned up on time and stayed late to get the kitchen and dining area sanded so he can seal it tomorrow :) 

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 196

Day 196 - Today I was so grateful that our repair company came back to fix the boards in the dining floor that weren't quite right, before the floor is sanded tomorrow :)

Day 195 - Today I was very grateful that Andrew Crow came over to fix the step up to the lounge from the dining room ready to sand and polish later in the week :)

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 162

Day 162 - Today I am SO SO SO grateful that the plasterers have turned up at our home today. The floor has taken so long and we kept being told that the plastering would have to wait and everything was being held up. The dining floor is proving to be a little more difficult to put back the floorboards down than was expected but the plasterers have arrived anyway! Yay! Great progress :)

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 160

Day 160 - Today I am extremely grateful that the repairers were here working all day and that the piling is finished and the floors are going back down :)   

I am also very grateful that Liz picked Briana up from school with the older girls so I could stay home with Josh who was home sick from school! 

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 155

Day 155 - Today I am grateful that my husband put pink 'snugfloor' batts in our bedroom floor before the builders replace the timber!

I feel warmer just looking at it :)
