Day 349 - Today I am supremely grateful that Sophie has moved into our home to house sit for us while we are away and look after our furry babies :)

Day 331 - Today I am utterly grateful to have been completely spoilt by my family, 

 taken out to lunch by Janese, a visit from Maria and had Denise, Lynn and Simon join us to celebrate Thanksgiving Dinner on my birthday today :) x

Day 323 - Today I was very grateful to have morning tea with Gudrun to see more of her amazing photos and for Bagel to have a great play with Hui too :) 

I was also grateful to have a long overdue afternoon tea catchup with Anita, Nikita and Hudson!

Day 274 - Today I was very grateful to catch up for networking with my Dinner Club friends and also grateful to Olivia for babysitting so I could go. I was also extremely grateful to pass the breath test on the way home :)

Day 249 - Today I was very grateful to be invited to Kimberley's 21st, it was great fun and so good to catch up with friends and I am also super grateful to Emma for babysitting :)

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 226

Day 226 - Today I was very grateful that Annette arrived over with buckets full of plants from her garden at the house she is moving from in 2 weeks. Annette is a parishioner and friend from St Andrews, who has been my right hand woman at my Twinklestarrs preschool music group for almost 8 years! But after her husband passing away last year and her insurance company finally settling her claim she is moving north to be near family. We will miss her terribly :( 

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 208

Day 208 - Today I am grateful that Kirsten added me as a friend on Facebook!! 

I am also very grateful that a social media proposal I prepared for a medium sized business was accepted today!  All thanks to Maria for inviting me to RISE and Kate for organising RISE :)

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 186

Day 186 - Today I was very grateful to unpack and discover some things I packed in December 2011. We got a lot unpacked today and I was thrilled to completely unpack my scrapbooking collection today that I packed when we left Aorangi Road. I was also so grateful to catch up with an old friend Jan who is moving to Brisbane. It's awhile since I've  seen her and it was such a surprise to find her at my door! I'm so glad we caught up before she left and she's invited us to come over to stay!

Livvy and I were so pleased to visit Ellie Springer in hospital this morning and see her looking so well and smiley! It's easy to be grateful when you see your friends child has come through an operation so well :)

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 179

Day 179 - Today I was very grateful to be invited to Lochiel's 21st!

We have known Lochiel since she was 9 when she moved back home from overseas with her family and started at Wairakei School. She and Kirsten became great friends and a year later we moved in 3 doors away from them. 

Lochiel and Kirsten are still best friends! And Kirsten made Lochiel's 21st cake that you can see in the photo as well as singing her a song she wrote especially for her birthday.

Tonight was an fabulous night catching up with old neighbours, school parents, previous churchgoers and celebrating the first 21 years of an amazing girl! Happy Birthday Lochiel :) x

2014 Gratitude Journal - Day 174

Day 174 - Today I was grateful to have a chance for some very special catchups with friends over coffee and later over wine. I'm also grateful that there were painters and builders here at home working away today. The painters are going (as my Mother would have said) "like the clappers!" And it looks like they are doing a great job of it too. Ceilings all finished and walls started. Looking fabulous already!
